Well, the Erbitux seems to be no match for my James Duane!! He's feeling pretty good.
We just had a visit from Shaunda and Julie. Now he and Addy are watching American Idol... but, while we were visiting, Addy was packing up his medicine and everything needed for a colostomy bag change. Then after American Idol they will get the rest of their items packed and put what they can in the car. Riding in comfort- they are taking my Ford Edge. It is a longer ride than we thought... so we didn't want to chance it. They will also have to do a colostomy bag change this evening so it is a fresh bag and ready to take on a long ride.
Tomorrow morning the visiting nurse will come and HOPEFULLY be quick with the subcutaneous needle change so they can get on the road!! They are both looking SOOOOooo forward to getting away!!
Will be posting some pictures of Jimmy's journey thus far soon- some pictures are not what we want to see, but I think we need to share them in order for you to get the jist of what we have been going through.
